Not so long after Google changes their favicon - it was on June year - they rolled out a new favicon again. Now google’s has a more colourful and attractive looks and it was inspired by the submissions they received from Google’s users.

The final decision was made and the icon choosen is a reinterpretation of one contest submission, it draws on design elements and ideas from many of them. André Resende is the one who inspired Google’s new favicon most. Then google take the idea and reinterpret it with other users submission.
